Adriana Wooten has been in the design field for 18 years.
Originally from Ontario, she earned her degree from Ryerson University as well as her NCIDQ certification.
She is one half of Kimberly Williams Interiors ,taking over from Kimberly in 2018 with her business partner Elaine Martel.
Adriana arrived on the island in 2003 and started working at Zebra Design. From there she opened her own interiors focused studio under the umbrella of local contractor Coastal Construction that specialized in the design of high end private residences.
After over 9 years with Coastal Interiors, she sought to broaden her design scope and began working at KWI; the opportunity to work on such diverse projects each day – everything from hotels and resorts to cafes and multifamily projects; and then full circle back to residences and renovations has been beyond rewarding.
She says, “the Kitchen from our “Spin Drift Residence” is one of our favourite rooms we’ve designed – it combines so many layers of functionality, discreetly concealed behind cabinetry, for a very busy growing family while still being a space that is stylish and quietly elegant. We love spaces that can achieve both this level of function and form.”
“We are obsessed with the layers of materials + finishes cohesively coming together here to create a fresh vibe on a traditional look. The warmth of the woods + white really let us inject some colour making the room feel youthful and approachable; a space where you’d feel equally comfortable enjoying a morning latte in your pjs or hosting a formal dinner party for 10.”
